The Westershire Air Ambulance (WAA) has been providing emergency trauma care to the residents of westershire since 1995, currently we have two EC-135 helicopters and two fast response vehicles, from our two bases we can reach anywhere in the county in 20 minutes by using the helicopter and an hour by car. We provide BASICS level of care through our 5 doctors that work with the air ambulance.

The Airmedix Trauma Team was set up to provide national BASICS coverage to the United Kingdom in 2007, we also provide Air Medical and BASICS support to the county of Westershire, we have one helicopter and one response car and can be in the air responding to incidents around the UK in about 5 minutes.

St John Ambulance is the nation’s leading first aid charity.
Every year, more than 400,000 people learn how to save a life through our training programmes, including hundreds of thousands of young people. Our volunteers provide first aid in their communities, keeping people safe at events, and working alongside the NHS in response to 999 calls.
