Over 60 response vehicles.
A dedicated police air support unit.
10 Police dog units.
A Tactical firearms unit.
An Armed response team consisting of over 20 vehicles
One of the UK's first armed traffic departments consisting of both armed and unarmed officers.
A Tactical robbery team.

A Operational support group consisting of 10 public order vans and 3 support vehicles.

Westershire police also has assistance from various other police forces in the county including British Transport Police and the Ministry of Defence police.
